Before we can remodel, we must demolish and remove floors, walls, cabinets, counters, backsplash, sinks, appliances, bathtubs, showers, windows, doors, etc, that are to be replaced. This process will create dust. We at Sparta Trades Kitchen and Bath Remodeling have been doing this for a long time, and will do everything possible to mitigate your discomfort with drop cloths and daily clean-up, but inevitably, there will be some dust. Anyone with a health or asthmatic condition should take this into consideration for the duration of the usually short-lived demolition phase of the project.  Please bring to our attention any special needs as early in our communication as possible so all necessary precautions can be integrated into the planning process.  

Moving walls or removing or adding windows and doors require new wood, headers, sheetrock, spackle, etc., that have to be measured and cut to size on site. Our skilled craftspeople properly install and finish as quickly as possible consistent with quality work. Sometimes, opening up walls can reveal the unanticipated. We want you to be happy with your home and our service, so if a phase of the project takes a little longer than we all thought it would, understand that our job supervisor is “on top of it” and will keep you apprised of what is happening.
